About LootGauge

LootGauge is a small, independent site that helps PC players find genuinely good game deals and free-to-keep games across many stores, and learn how to judge a sale.

Who runs LootGauge

LootGauge is an independent PC game deals site run by Chase Dishner, based in the United States. Prices come from CheapShark. You can reach Chase Dishner at chasedishner21@gmail.com.

What we make

• A deal finder that compares current prices across more than a dozen PC stores.
• A free-to-keep tracker for games that are temporarily $0.
• A new & upcoming list of recent releases and pre-orders with discounts.
• Deals of the day, a short daily list selected by transparent rules, with an archive.
• Practical guides on fake discounts, giveaway safety, refunds and budget gaming.

Where our data comes from

Prices come from the free CheapShark API. Live pages load data straight from CheapShark when you open them, and a daily snapshot is saved for the Deals of the day archive. See data sources for details. We don't use game artwork or store logos; all graphics on the site are our own.

How the site is funded

LootGauge is free to use. We plan to show a small number of clearly labelled, non-intrusive ads to pay for hosting. We will never use pop-ups, interstitials or ads that cover content. Deal links go through CheapShark, which may earn a commission from stores; that supports the free data service and does not cost you anything extra. LootGauge does not receive that commission and is never paid to feature a game.

Independence

LootGauge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher, developer or store. Game titles and store names are trademarks of their respective owners.
